class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\" id=\"h-what-is-the-kilimo-project\">What is the KILIMO Project?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Itk, a pioneer of <strong>Global Agtech<\/strong>, in collaboration with Airbus Defence and Space and a consortium, is leading a scientific and technological feasibility study for food security and soil carbon sequestration at the request of Vihiga County in Kenya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\" id=\"h-the-kilimo-project-aims-at\">The inhabitants and is populated, in the majority, by Luhya-Maragoli and Luo. The main activities are agricultural with the cultivation of tea, maize, millet, cassava and dairy cows.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-technological-investments-for-food-security\">Technological investments for food security<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kenya has just inaugurated a <strong>geospatial study centre <\/strong>in collaboration with Airbus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The national project of \u00abDigitization Agri
